Inner Strength – for children and teens
20 minutes to understand your child's situation and clarify the next steps. You'll receive a specific recommendation – even if my offer isn't the right fit.
Do you recognise this in your child: Nerves before tests? Difficulties with focus? Trouble falling asleep?
My work helps children and teens discover and use their inner strength. Through mindfulness practices and coaching they find clarity, focus, and emotional resilience.
And here's what surprises many parents: Mindfulness and healthy sleep aren't individual solutions. They're the foundation. When both improve, so much else often shifts at the same time – focus, mood, resilience, joy in everyday life.
My areas of expertise: Nerves or anxiety (before tests or in social situations), motivation and difficulties following through, focus and ADHD, trouble falling asleep, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Also deeply valuable for ambitious, socially active children who don't want to lose sight of themselves: Mindfulness gives them that inner pause – the moment when your child can choose consciously, instead of just reacting.
God and his support, which is there for us at all times, is woven into our work – whenever it arises naturally. The starting point is always what your child is thinking, feeling, and struggling with right now.
„Through coaching with Kim my feeling about maths tests changed from nervous and a little anxious to relaxed. For me it was like discovering two new personalities inside me: my empowered self and 'little Clara'. My empowered self took care of little Clara – and that helped me feel less anxious and write the maths tests more easily."

„Before booking we had real doubts about whether Ms Lorentzen could help us bring a little more calm into our daily life. Our son is a very cheerful, spirited, and energetic child and we weren't sure he'd be receptive to this kind of training. But he loved it and quickly learned techniques to find moments of calm. He became emotionally more balanced. And that brought a sense of ease to our whole family. What I appreciated most was Kim-Nicola's warm and loving approach, and the fact that my son always looked forward to going. I believe it's important to also care for the mood and balance within a family – not just sports and music lessons. This has helped us enormously and we're all happier now."

A 10-year-old needs different support than a 18-year-old preparing for exams. That's why we adjust the frequency and duration individually – to your child, their schedule, and your budget. This might be a short weekly session of 15 minutes, or a longer call every two weeks. It's the consistency.
I work with children and teens for 1, 3, or more months – in English or German.
Upon request: mentorship as a family package – for more than one family member. This investment is particularly valuable when you want to work on things together as a couple and parents as well as individually, and you're looking for support for your children around focus, school, or emotional resilience too.
