Stillness and richness DIY steps
For this process to work and do its magic the only requirement is that you really do it and focus on it for around 15 minutes.
The ripple effects of these alignment steps can be tremendous.
Let’s start right now:
step no. 1
List the main events of your next season (month, quarter, however you’d like to do it):
e.g.
Lunch with Aunty Chelle
Singing performance
Weekend trip with family of my sister
Charity support
School Bazar
Work celebration party
Do yourself a favour and complete step one. We can in fact miss important pieces when we do something in our minds only. Really truly. Quickly jot it down now before continuing to read.
step no. 2
Listen to this audio in a place where most likely you’ll be undisturbed - and never worry if a little one enters the room, simply continue to breathe, and most likely they’ll join you … (lucky them!)
Step No. 3
Write the information you received on a piece of paper.
Write down or circle three points you want to focus on.
Don’t think about the how, the steps to follow through, or any logic around it yet.
If you knew these three pieces of information were crucial for your energy this next season, for you to be in a high frequency and to show up for your family, for your friends, for your team, for the world in your most fantastic frequency -
then how could you step into an identity right here right now to make the steps to honour this information?
Know that it’s possible and that it’s a decision. Know that everyone will benefit - even if at first it might not look like it.
Example:
You know you need to change up your lunch with Auntie Chelle. You know it’s far too much with what you still need to get done.
This lunch is always happening on the last Sunday before Christmas Eve. Since you were a small child. Except: now you have four children, a dog, a husband, and a work position that is exciting and carries responsibility.
How could you honour the tradition while still honouring your clear intuition that this year, you can’t make it while still remaining your standards on how you want to show up:
This point doesn’t necessarily mean to cancel the lunch. It could mean, however, to shift the lunch schedule from 12 pm to 2 pm so that you can get things done before the lunch … That way you’ll miss the invite by your neighbours to afternoon Christmas tea.
Or it could mean to ask your Auntie to come over two hours prior already before you set off to your lunch so she can help you.
It could mean to postpone it - but some traditions we simply don’t want to postpone, it wouldn’t be the same, right?
Know that you’ll always find a creative solution when you allow yourself to open up to it.
Step No. 4
Per item you know you need to change up, schedule 1-3 steps you need to take into your schedule immediately.
Assign a certain day, time of the day and the action you need to take: e.g. speak to hubby tonight to take the dog on Monday. Call Auntie Chelle tonight and tell her about workload and if she could arrive two hours early. Don’t worry if things don’t work out. Trust that another option will open up if something isn’t running smoothly.
Sometimes we can find ourselves in more complex situations that are difficult to access all by ourselves. That is so normal.
Schedule 1:1 time with me on top and receive:
. a preparation call, an intensive call, and a follow-up integration call plus ten coaching chat days to fine tune and meet any obstacle coming up.
This investment will serve you far beyond this season.
I’d love to have you:
